No... you need to check the ticket for protection, try to use this. keep in mind these were the default values of rev.ini :

Check_Ticket = True - Ticket revemu authentication
Allow_Fail_Check = False - Allow connection when it is impossible to check
AllowUnknown=false - Allow unknown clients to join your server

Yes, Windows should be an option for people. Many use this. But bir3yk is one person and has a lot going on. I'm worried as the daily player base decreased from 20k to 5k. Now a couple weeks ago the valve contractor made a prerelease build to likely update CS:S again. :fuh:
